it all began with...

...my great-grandfather. There on the right, that is him, hiding in the shadows. And one of his passions was photography. In fact, he was freelancing during WWI! As far as we know, he is where our family's creative streak runs from. His other passion was literature. He was a book trader and shop owner. My mother is a writer in her spare time. My brother is a photographer in his spare time.
That's what's within, what's been brewing over the years, projecting in documenting special occasions, travels and a lot, a lot of selfies before the term even existed.

then, there was me...

...also know as 24K Smile during most of my early years. My passion for life and creating happy memories still drives me to this day. I believe in being happy because I've made another happy. I believe that laughter is the best medicine. I believe in solemn reflections and mindful observations. I believe that life is now and that the everyday is not romanticised enough. I believe that a picture should not only tell a thousand words, but tug at your heartstrings and flood you with memories.

...and then there was him

My stardust, wonderment, magic, healthy obsession. He was born. I was reborn. And so was my "viewfinder". I wanted to snap and eternalise every minute of every day, every eyelash, every crease. And the more he grows, the more I struggle with how vastly fleeting time is. So my part time passion for photography has turned into my full time rebellion against time.

And so Fleeting Moments Photography was also born

With the mission to stop time in its tracks through my art. To give you an experience, a chance to make fun, happy, loving memories,  as much as to capture those fleeting moments that spark in our eyes, those transcendent raw feelings that take our breath away and that words are simply inadequate to describe.

A chance to commemorate your most personal and intimate dynamic to look back on with fondness and longing.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
